SOLDER PASTES/SOLDER CREAMS
All solder pastes/solder creams are formulated in a different manner that is considered industry standard.

Maintaining consistency, Superior Solder Pastes are all formulated for standard tin-lead and Lead-Free applications. From lot-to-lot, board-to-board, convection-to-vapor phase reflow all solder pastes will print, reflow, and yield high first-pass results.

There are thirteen unique properties to Superior Solder Pastes that make these products truly Superior.
  • 3000-Series: Conventional No-Cleans with a post-solder residue level of 3.3 -5.5%.
    All Superior No-Clean solder pastes are pin-testable post-reflow.
  • 4000-Series: Synthetic No-Clean with post-solder residue level of 2.2-3.0%
    All Superior No-Clean solder pastes are pin-testable post-reflow.
  • 8000-Series: Water-soluble pastes that are all non-halide and have very wide process windows.
  • 9000-Series: RMA-type pastes that meet military specifications.

Tacky Flux

Superior Flux manufactures a number of different dispensable and screenable tacky fluxes, including the following formulas:

  • 4000 Synthetic No-Clean
  • 3000 Conventional No-Clean
  • 8000 Water-soluble
  • 9000 RMA

SyberGel

HAND SOLDERING PRODUCTS

Superior SyberGel® Flux & Cleaner and SyberLiquid® Flux & Cleaner are revolutionary soldering products that can help make the benchtop a VOC-free area. These products incorporate a unique organic activation and binding system that solublizes all residues (organic and inorganic) present on a circuit board and makes the post-solder residue completely water-soluble.

They can be used with rosin core, water-soluble, and No-Clean core solders and are compatible with all solder paste residues. Cleaning is best accomplished in an in-line cleaner.

These products are an excellent choice for use during SMD removal. They help to lower surface tension and make SMD removal much easier with all types of removal systems.
