PCB WAVE SOLDERING FLUXES
Superior’s wave soldering fluxes are formulated for single-sided and PTH PCBs for application in foam, spray, dip, and drag wave-soldering processes. Environmental, workplace safety, and post-solder cleanliness have been formulated in all wave soldering products.

With the conversion to Lead-Free solders presenting a number of process challenges, Superior has formulated a variety of VOC-Free and Alcohol-based fluxes to address the different parameters that need to be met.

Superior uses the IPC standards as the basis for categorizing all of our fluxes.

The following are our most popular wave soldering fluxes; more are available.

For thru-hole and SMT post-assembly processes, where in-line or batch-cleaning aqueous cleaning systems are in use, the following products are available to remove residues and assist in equipment maintenance:

• Superior SyberKleen 2000 Saponifier: An excellent, non-ionic cleaning solution for removing fluxes residues (Rosin or OA) in batch or in-line cleaning systems.
  
  
• Superior Descaler: For cleaning mineral or hard water deposits that build up in cleaning equipment over time. Helps clean cleaning systems so they may stay operational and effective for a long time.

 
SOLDER CONDITIONERS

• Superior Dross Reducer Powder is a white, inorganic powder formulated to clean the solder surface and allow usable metal to be regenerated, while encapsulating the metal oxides for disposal. This product can be used in wave soldering and still solder baths. It is specially formulated not to contain oil, fat, or chlorides, which interfere with product cleanliness.
