Zinc-Free Fluxes
Today, many regional sewer districts are monitoring the emissions of heavy metals into sewer systems. New alternatives are being sought to eliminate zinc (a heavy metal) from fluxes and thus remove the hazardous waste associated with post-solder effluent.

Zinc Chloride-Free Fluxes are formulated to help companies eliminate heavy metals, such as zinc chloride, from the manufacturing processes and meet the emissions and environmental guidelines of local sewer districts and state regulatory agencies.

In addition to being completely zinc free, all fluxes are completely hydrazine-free. If it is unsafe for us to manufacture, it is unsafe for you to use.

These fluxes are used for conventional radiator soldering, brass-to-brass soldering, and copper wire tinning processes.
