| Superior Flux maintains a full-time laboratory that conducts incoming and outgoing quality control for all flux products manufactured. However, the research and the development of new solutions, our primary objective, has helped Superior Flux to build and maintain a reputation for providing environmentally friendly solutions. Since 1949, when Superior Supersafe® No. 30 was introduced, Superior Flux has maintained a strong commitment to manufacturing environmentally friendly fluxes. The implementation of environmental restrictions against ozone depleting emissions has led to industry-wide changes for all electronics and industrial assemblers. Superior Flux's emphasis on water-based and No-Clean flux formulations helps electronic assemblers and fabricators eliminate solvents from their manufacturing processes. Recent changes in the emissions guidelines for industrial users served as a catalyst for Superior Flux to develop a new group of zinc chloride-free fluxes. These products have the capacity to help solder stainless steel and contain no zinc chloride or other heavy metals, helping manufacturers meet their local water emissions specifications. Superior Flux's research team has recently created an effective fluoride-free brazing flux, representing a revolution in brazing technology. Superior Flux continues to conduct research that will assist companies in complying with local environmental air and water emissions standards; is developing dispensable soldering and brazing products; and is helping electronics assemblers to remove cleaning solvents from their assembly processes.
