Consulting and Lab Services
Our metal joining specialists can visit your facility and offer soldering, brazing or welding consulting services. They will review your metal joining processes and consult on all aspects of soldering, brazing or welding, including flux, solder or braze alloy, equipment, processes and safety. Rates for our soldering, brazing and welding consultants are typically $1000.00/day per consultant, plus expenses. As consultants, our goal is to determine the optimal metal joining process, and this may not involve flux usage.
In addition to providing consulting services, Superior Flux also provides third-party laboratory analysis. Superior Flux has a full service laboratory, with a focus on the chemical and metallurgical aspects of soldering, brazing and welding. We specialize in solderability testing, as well other methods of analyzing solder, braze and weld joint characteristics and integrity. Please contact us with your analysis projects.
